Ensure the Remote Registry Service is disabled to block remote access to the Windows registry. Allowing remote registry access can lead to unauthorized changes and pose a serious security risk.
Ensure default administrative shares (e.g., C$, D$, Admin$) are disabled by verifying that the AutoShareServer registry value is set to 0. Leaving these shares enabled can expose system resources to unauthorized access.
Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions 2018.011.20038 and earlier, 2017.011.30079 and earlier, and 2015.006.30417 and earlier have a Double Free vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
